More steam ahead for heart print’s camps. The foundation of our camp curriculum is steam education. Steam is an acronym that refers to education-related programs in the disciplines of science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics. Steam education indicates integration of at least two of the steam disciplines within a curricular activity.
Get ready for some summer fun! Our themed summer camps are sure to entertain as well as educate our students.
HeartPrints also recognizes the importance of active play in the lives of young children. We are committed to scheduling time for children to exercise both their minds and bodies. Every day during our summer camps, children will spend quality time exercising on our playground or exploring in our outdoor nature center. If the weather is inclement, our school is equipped for active indoor play.

About STEAM Education:
In recent years, the United States has received significant criticism regarding the lack of scientific thinking skills and knowledge in our children. In spite of this criticism, many school districts continue to downplay the importance of science education in the early elementary years. Research tells us that STEAM education is critical for both boys and girls. Our summer camps are strategically designed to appeal to both boys and girls as they help children develop and strengthen their scientific thinking and build a strong foundation for future science learning. Our camp curriculum supports and enhances young children’s learning through quality activities that expose children to new concepts/ideas and encourage girls and boys to use their developing skills in a variety of creative ways.
