This class is designed to foster a love of learning in children by exposing them to learning through play.

Our teachers will build experiences in math, literacy, science, and social studies based on student-initiated projects and interests. Art is used to represent knowledge and learning. Mixed-Age classrooms nurture peer mentorship and allow teachers to challenge children at different academic levels based on readiness. Children in our preschool classes participate in yoga and foreign language classes.

We believe that young children learn best through respectful, reciprocal, responsive relationships. These relationships serve as the foundation for learning and enable children to solve problems and manage conflict respectfully.

Children emerge from HeartPrints preschool as confident, compassionate, curious, creative individuals who work to solve problems and manage conflict respectfully.

Our preschool classes offer daily opportunities for small group, large group, and individual learning experiences. Each day, children and teachers…

The Reggio Emilia Learning Philosophy Encourages children to follow their innate curiosity.
